Job summary

The Museum of The Bible invites applicants for the Ambassador, Guest Relations role in Washington, D.C. This full-time position focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, greeting visitors, promoting memberships, and providing museum information on assigned floors.

You will serve as a frontline MOTB representative, resolving guest issues and supporting Leadership. Weekend availability, standing for long periods, and lifting up to 30 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in museum studies or hospitality preferred.
• 1–2 years of museum experience preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with basic computer tools (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm welcomes and assist guests on assigned floors.
• Promote memberships and upsell opportunities.
• Assist guests with inquiries and direct them to the appropriate staff.
• Coordinate with facilities for cleanliness and safety on floors.
• Provide docent-led experiences and share museum content knowledge.
• Sell tickets and memberships using MOTB platform.
