Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping experience required.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience required or preferred.
• Hotel, resort, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of guestroom cleaning standards and hotel safety procedures.
• Proficient computer skills; Word and Excel a plus.
• Clear, professional communication with staff and departments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to train, coach, motivate, and support associates.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and supporting Housekeeping associates throughout the day.
• Determining daily work assignments for staff based on occupancy and needs.
• Monitoring progress to meet standards and timelines.
• Inspecting guestrooms, public areas, and spaces for cleanliness and safety.
• Training and coaching staff on policies, cleaning standards, and safety.
• Ensuring staff clock in and wear the proper uniform.
• Providing feedback to the Director of Housekeeping and aiding team development.
• Helping maintain payroll within budget and completing reports.
• Reinforcing proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Coordinating linen operations and inventory management.
• Communicating ready rooms to Front Office with targets.
• Following security procedures to protect guests and property.
• Responding to requests and stepping in for housekeeping duties when needed.
• Willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
