Job summary

Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in Colorado is seeking a Front Desk Associate to deliver friendly, professional guest service at check-in and check-out, resolve issues promptly, and maintain accurate reservations.

You will welcome guests, handle inquiries, coordinate with other teams, and uphold confidentiality while working a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Prior hospitality experience and proficiency with MS Office are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of hospitality/front desk experience required.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; fluent in English.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keeps team members and department leaders well informed about hotel operations.
• Provides training and insight to guest service agents.
• Resolve guest issues and concerns in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner.
• Responsible for the accurate check-in and check-out of each guest.
• Ensures that all guest contact is courteous and thorough.
• Maintains knowledge of the casino, hotel, community, and events to provide guests with superior service.
• Answers phone and assists with clerical tasks.
• Maintains an operating bank and processes payments as needed.
