Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels seeks a Front Desk Supervisor in Miami Beach to lead the front desk team, train staff, and support the Operations Manager with accounting and HR tasks. You will be the lead contact for front desk technology systems and assist with guest services during shifts.

You will supervise guest interactions, ensure accurate cash handling, and drive occupancy and rate strategies with Opera and Synxis in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of hotel experience required.
• ServSafe certification may be required.
• TIPS certification may be required.
• English fluency required; other languages beneficial.
• Experience with Opera and Synxis systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Sonesta Service standards to guests and clients.
• Train and supervise front desk staff; schedule coverage.
• Oversee front desk and reservation functions; secure cash and guest data.
• Manage revenue-related duties with Opera and Synxis systems.
• Collaborate with management to implement service recovery guidelines.
• Assist Operations Manager with accounting and HR tasks for Front Office.
• Register guests, issue keys, answer phones promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol laws.
