Job summary

NexDine is seeking a Guest Experience Supervisor in Kalamazoo, MI, to lead daily dining operations and staff, ensuring exceptional client service and presentation of food and service. This role reports to the General Manager or Chef and involves coordinating events and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, supervising cooks and servers, managing safety and sanitation, and assisting in menu planning and cost control with the Chef Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Specialized training in catering.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of daily dining services to ensure client satisfaction.
• Inspect supplies, equipment, or work areas for standards and quality control.
• Build and maintain a 2+ week staff schedule; post at least 3 weeks.
• Assist with vendor relations and purchasing to ensure efficient operation.
• Ensure safety, food handling, sanitation, and uniform guidelines are followed.
• Assist with event menu writing and costing measures with Chef Manager.
