Job summary

The Creamery Lead Attendant at Biltmore's Antler Hill Village oversees a dynamic guest services team at the Creamery, Smokehouse, and related locations to deliver world-class guest experiences.

You will supervise staff, train on daily operations, coordinate with other departments, ensure timely service, monitor cash handling, and uphold cleanliness and uniform standards during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Minimum two years of supervisory/management experience in food & beverage.
• Experience in a full-service restaurant or luxury resort is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest service orientation.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervise line staff and develop the team.
• On-floor guest and staff interaction during peak periods.
• Assigns tasks and coordinates outlets for prompt, courteous service.
• Work with Restaurant Manager on training and day-to-day issues.
• Inform kitchen of food timing or quality concerns and coordinate resolutions.
• Propose revenue-generating or efficiency-improvement ideas.
• Maintain food, beer and wine controls and inventory.
• Oversee uniforms, cleanliness, and daily paperwork accuracy.
• Balance cash drawers and perform safes audits as needed.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance of areas are completed when required.
