Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a Retail Lead Associate to drive guest satisfaction and sales at the Carriage House shop. You will handle POS operations, assist with inventory, and support opening/closing duties to ensure smooth daily shop performance.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in guest service, strong communication, and the ability to learn Biltmore's products, procedures, and Counterpoint system. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma strongly preferred; additional education or training desired.
• At least 1 year of related guest service experience; education/experience considered.
• Demonstrated commitment to world-class guest service; leadership skills a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn Biltmore's products/services, history, processes, protocols and structure.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; strong public speaking and active listening abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and ensure total guest satisfaction with estate shopping experiences.
• Develop proficiency and accuracy in POS register operations.
• Maintain a strong sales focus with up-selling and cross-selling.
• Monitor and replenish merchandise levels; assist with inventory controls.
• Assist with floor coverage, radio communications, break schedules, and POS support.
• Act as Authorized Approver for merchandise returns and voids; create purchase orders for vendors.
