Job summary

Biltmore Creamery Attendants are based in Antler Hill Village adjacent to Cedric’s Tavern and the Winery, delivering world class guest service as part of a dynamic Food & Beverage outlets team.

Shifts vary, including weekdays and weekends, averaging 20 hours per week. You’ll handle cash, learn the Micros system, and enjoy on-site health clinic access, free shift meals, employee discounts, housing assistance, estate access, and company events.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of prior guest service experience preferred.
• Must obtain ServSafe certification within 120 days of hire.
• Solid math skills and the ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
• Cheerful, caring, and considerate attitude with a genuine desire to deliver world class service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Adaptable to a fast paced environment and a hard worker.
• Proactive with good judgment.

Job Description

$16.32 - $22/hour average, dependent on business volume ($10.50/hour plus tips). Reserve: a position averaging 20 hours a week (anywhere between 40-999 hours per year).

Creamery Attendants are based in Antler Hill Village adjacent to Cedric’s Tavern and the Winery, and deliver world class guest service to guests in a timely, friendly manner while working as part of a dynamic, proactive Food & Beverage outlets team. Other duties include keeping work areas stocked, cleaned, and with a great appearance and presentation for the pleasure and service to our guests. This position will also provide general support and assistance to the department, leadership, and company.

Shifts vary, and will include weekdays and weekends.

Requirements

• Previous hospitality, restaurant, retail and/or guest service experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have had six (6) months of prior guest service experience.


• Must be able to obtain a ServSafe certification within 120 days of hire.

• Must have a cheerful, caring, and considerate attitude and a genuine desire to deliver world class service.

Physical Requirements

• Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.


• Have the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.


• Ability to climb stair and ladders as needed.


• Ability to work indoors and outside in all types of weather with fluctuations in temperature and conditions.


• Must be at least 16 years of age.
