Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Texas is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest satisfaction and cashwrap excellence. This role trains new cashiers, leads by example in sales and service, and partners with managers to ensure an engaging, efficient checkout experience.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, demonstrating products, and maintaining displays to maximize guest readiness and brand standards while supporting loyalty initiatives and store goals.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting, engaging, and tailoring recommendations.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy.
• Provide makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support services and in-store events.
• Maintain replenishment and organization of cashwrap displays and impulse fixtures.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
