Job summary

Sheraton Ann Arbor Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to support the housekeeping team by maintaining cleanliness in public areas, delivering linens and supplies, and assisting with room resets. This role helps ensure guest rooms and common areas meet standards and reports to the Executive Housekeeper.

Additionally, the position offers growth pathways within the hospitality industry and requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Sufficient education and/or literacy to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required—with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support housekeeping team by stocking carts and delivering supplies to guest rooms.
• Assist with cleaning tasks as needed and ensure supplies are available for rooms.
• Report to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.
• Provide behind-the-scenes support to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
