Job summary

Extended Stay America in Avon, OH is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean guest rooms and public areas in accordance with company standards. You will follow cleaning procedures, restock supplies, and report maintenance issues to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team. Training through Extended Stay University will be provided, with opportunities to grow within the hotel brand.

Qualifications

• Understand instructions, policies, and guidelines and the ability to engage in effective communication with the manager and staff.
• Understand and follow guidelines, adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements and similar company standards and expectations.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms with adherence to company standards.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
• Assists and accommodates guest requests when possible.
• Complies with safety and security policies and procedures.
• Completes all required Extended Stay University training.
• Assists with cleaning other areas of the hotel as assigned.
• Maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
