Job summary

Pinehurst is seeking a Host/Hostess to warmly greet and seat guests in the dining outlets during operating hours. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 months related experience or equivalent education/experience.

You will manage menus, answer phones, assist servers as needed, and keep the Host/Hostess stand neat. Availability across multiple locations and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet and seat Members/Guests
• Handle menus used during that particular meal period ensuring they are presentable
• Answering of phone during hours of operation
• Reporting to supervisor any needs, problems or concerns expressed by Members/Guests
• Assist servers when needed and when time allows with clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
• Clear extra settings from tables when seating guests
• Attend outlet staff meeting as scheduled
• Organize and keep Host/Hostess stand clean and neat
• Be available to work in various locations of Food and Beverage outlets depending on business levels and work holidays when needed
