Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is seeking a courteous Host to welcome guests, manage reservations via OpenTable, and coordinate seating with the dining team. You will ensure guests are greeted warmly, seated promptly when possible, and assisted with special seating requests as needed.

This role emphasizes friendly service, strong organization, and teamwork across front-of-house staff to deliver a flawless guest experience in our Raleigh-area locations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of restaurant host experience is required.
• Maintain a positive energy and be a team player.
• Communicate effectively with managers, staff, and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Manage reservations using OpenTable.
• Greet guests warmly on arrival and thank them on departure.
• Provide estimated waiting times and seating arrangements when needed.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen and dining room and relay messages as needed.
