Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, manage reservations, and coordinate seating. You will be the first and last impression for guests, ensuring smooth flow between front desk and dining room while upholding our service standards.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing OpenTable reservations, estimating wait times, and communicating with management and staff to exceed expectations. A positive attitude and reliable schedule are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of restaurant host experience required.
• Positive energy and teamwork orientation are essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, staff and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Comfort with standing and walking for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations using OpenTable and manage seating times.
• Greet guests warmly on arrival and thank them on departure.
• Provide waiting time estimates and accommodate seating requests when possible.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen and dining room to relay messages.
