Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is seeking a friendly Host to warmly greet guests, manage seating, and coordinate with the kitchen and dining team. As the first and last person guests see, you’ll ensure smooth seating and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include taking reservations via OpenTable, providing accurate wait times, and collaborating with management to meet seating needs. A positive energy and teamwork mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of restaurant host experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations using the online reservations system in OpenTable.
• Greet guests upon arrival and thank them as they leave.
• When seating is limited, provide estimated waiting time and notify when a table is available.
• Act as liaison between the kitchen and dining room, relaying messages to staff and managers.
