Job summary

Valor Hospitality in The Lodge at Gulf State Park is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to warmly greet guests, guide them to seating and present menus. You will coordinate seating, reservations, and dining room flow to ensure a smooth, inviting experience.

This on-site role requires courtesy, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to manage guest needs and coordination with servers and kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Entry-level or prior experience in hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to manage guest seating and reservations efficiently.
• Excellent communication and friendly, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to their table, pull chair out for the guest, and present menus.
• Maintain a clean entry area and inviting first impression.
• Coordinate seating and reservations to optimize dining room flow.
• Inform servers of locations and station assignments.
• Ensure private parties are staffed and prepared for service.
