Qualifications

• Experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role in a restaurant.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities during busy periods.
• Excellent communication and active listening.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems.
• Basic math skills for reservations and seating calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards.
• Demonstrated hospitality and positive guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Greet members/guests warmly upon arrival and provide friendly, professional service.
• Manage restaurant reservation systems efficiently.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize turnover and guest satisfaction.
• Answer incoming phone calls with proper etiquette and assist with inquiries.
• Maintain waitlists and communicate wait times clearly.
