Job summary

Macayo's Host Team in Tempe, AZ is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage seating, and keep dining rooms running smoothly. You will present menus, answer questions, and coordinate with managers to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires a high-energy, fast-paced environment, memorization of seating plans, and training on To-Go procedures and reservation systems. Training includes tests with minimum passing scores and potential wage adjustments.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to stand and walk fast for six hours and lift 25 pounds.
• Memorize dining room plan, table numbers and pivot point system.
• Complete host training tests with minimum 75% to qualify for permanent station.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests with a smile and leads seating, rotating flow among stations.
• Presents menu and answers questions about offerings and promotions.
• Maintains a clean, organized dining area and restrooms as needed.
• Monitors wait lists and informs guests of expected table times.
• Works with management to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
