Job summary

Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU seeks a personable Host to deliver exceptional guest service in our signature restaurant. You will seat guests, manage reservations, and coordinate with the dining team to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires hands-on food and beverage knowledge, strong customer-service skills, and the ability to multitask during peak periods. Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Prior experience in a fine dining setting preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced hotel restaurant.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refine service standards in a busy hotel restaurant.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Answer phones, manage reservations, greet and seat guests.
• Keep the host stand and dining area organized and clean.
• Assist with event orders and room/guest needs as required.
• Communicate clearly with guests and co-workers to ensure memorable experiences.
