Job summary

Macayo's - Woody's #9 in Phoenix is seeking a friendly server to directly impact the guest dining experience in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. You will welcome guests, tour the menu, and highlight our fresh homemade food to ensure every visit feels special.

You will maintain excellent service from order taking to refills and check fulfillment, keep the dining area clean, and support teammates to make every guest leave happy and eager to return to Macayo's.

Qualifications

High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid Food Handler's Card required within 30 days of hire.
Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).
Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests with a friendly smile.
Provide a tour of Macayo's menu, highlighting our fresh homemade food
Take pride in ensuring that all food served is hot (when applicable) fresh and accurate
Maintain great service throught the guest's visit, providing timely order taking, refills, check fulfillment and ensuring cleanliness
Ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest, assisting teammates in accomplishing this when necessary
Do whatever it takes to make sure every guest leaves happy and willing to return and recommend Macayo's to all
