Job summary

Kellogg Center's State Room Restaurant is seeking a part-time dining room attendant to assist with breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service. This position supports guest-facing activities and requires a welcoming, service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, taking reservations, assisting guests (children and elderly), maintaining a clean dining area, aiding wait staff, and resetting tables for the next guests. Availability evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at least 15 hours/week, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding guest service.
• Must be able to work MSU graduation weekends, football & basketball home game days, minimum of 2-3 shifts a week, Monday-Saturday, days, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greeting, seating, and escorting guest
• Take dining reservations
• Assist customers who require extra attention (children, elderly)
• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the restaurant
• Assist wait staff as needed
• Helping reset tables for next customers
• Provide exceptional customer service
