Job summary

Five Iron Golf NYC LLC is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests and support front-desk operations at our venue in New York. You will help manage reservations and guide guests to simulators or bars while delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, providing wait times, processing MindBody reservations, and coordinating with staff. Evening and weekend shifts are required, with benefits for full-time staff where applicable.

Qualifications

• Golf, server, and/or hospitality experience encouraged but not required.
• Experience in managing reservations.
• Demonstrable customer-service skills.
• Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in-person.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor all simulators and bar area.
• Availability to work various shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the venue with a smile and friendly attitude.
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
• Manage reservations in MindBody booking software.
• Escort customers to assigned simulator or bar areas.
• Provide information on specials, memberships and leagues.
• Acknowledge customers upon departure.
• Coordinate with wait staff about available simulator options.
• Maintain a clean reception area.
• Answer incoming calls and address inquiries.
• Assist other staff as needed.
