Job summary

Five Iron Golf is hiring an Event Captain to ensure top-tier on-site execution for events of all sizes in its New York venues. You will lead teams, greet guests, prepare spaces, resolve issues, and close contracts while maintaining the Five Iron standard of hospitality.

Role involves coordinating simulators, collaborating with kitchen staff, and providing feedback to boost future bookings. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are required; base pay is hourly with tips, and total

Qualifications

• Prior experience in managing or coordinating events.
• Passion for golf and understanding the game’s rules.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site execution of events to provide an elevated guest experience.
• Greet guests, prepare spaces, resolve issues, and close out finances.
• Ensure contracted services are delivered and guest satisfaction is high.
• Manage simulators and event spaces per contract requirements.
• Oversee event timelines for organized activities.
• Train and coordinate staff to deliver a premium experience.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to meet customer expectations.
• Provide feedback to Sales to drive repeat business.
• Handle inventory purchase and management for events.
• Support Event Sales Manager with admin tasks.
