Job summary

Founding Farmers is seeking a Host/Coordinator to provide attentive service from guest entry through seating. You will manage reservations, greet customers, and support the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

The role emphasizes hospitality, accuracy in wait-list management, and clear communication with front-of-house staff. Applicants should be able to stand for long periods and lift light loads as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to maintain a hospitable and welcoming environment for guests.
• Experience with high-volume service is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant reservations and wait lists to accurately set guest expectations.
• Manage and monitor the restaurant's reservation system using OpenTable.
• Answer the restaurant phone and provide friendly service for all guest and call center inquiries.
• Greet and seat guests at their table providing exceptional hospitality.
• Assist guests in making reservations and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Assist with parking validation and provide directions/recommendations as needed.
• Support service staff by clearing dishes and assisting with setup.
• Perform housekeeping tasks to keep dining areas, servers, and restrooms clean.
