Job summary

Founding Farmers in Washington, DC is seeking a Host/Coordinator to provide attentive service from arrival to seating, manage reservations via OpenTable, and coordinate with front-of-house staff. You will greet guests, assist with reservations, and support the service team to keep dining operations smooth and welcoming.

Applicants should have strong communication skills, a willingness to learn our menu, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

• Must be 18 years old due to service of alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant reservations and wait lists to set guest expectations.
• Manage OpenTable reservation system and answer phone inquiries.
• Greet and seat guests, providing hospitality.
• Assist guests with reservations and respond to requests promptly.
• Support service staff by clearing tables and preparing dining areas.
• Maintain punctuality and contribute to a positive team environment.
