Job summary

Snow City Café in Anchorage seeks a friendly Host to join on a part-time basis with weekend availability. You will greet guests, seat them, quote wait times, take reservations, and handle to-go orders while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean host area, updating wait times with accuracy, knowing menu items and allergens, and answering phones promptly. Training provided, with dining discounts and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Must communicate, write, and understand English
• Must have strong cash handling and be able to operate a cash register and POS
• Must have Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with eye contact and a smile
• Seat guests and quote wait times
• Take reservations and to-go orders
• Answer guest inquiries
• Maintain clean and organized dining area
• Pre-buss and restock host stand
• Assist with clearing tables
• Answer the phone promptly
• Know menu items and potential allergens
• Keep host stand stocked with menus and supplies
• Perform opening/closing side work
• Duties may change at any time
