Job summary

Opry Entertainment Group is seeking a Host for our restaurant and live entertainment venue in the United States. You will greet guests, manage reservations and waitlists, and escort guests to seats while creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal candidates welcome guests with enthusiasm, share knowledge about events, and support front-of-house operations while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with efficiency and composure.
• Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly with a smile and sincere welcome.
• Manage venue flow, estimate wait times, and escort guests to areas.
• Provide confident and friendly guidance about events.
• Maintain waitlists and communicate logistics to management.
• Walk guests to tables, present menus, and ensure seating comfort.
• Maintain clean service environments and follow sanitation procedures.
• Assist with front-of-house duties and deliver food/beverages as needed.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service per policies.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and complete opening/closing duties.
• Report accidents or facility issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
