Job summary

opryentertainment in Las Vegas is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests at our legendary music and entertainment venues. You will greet guests, manage reservations and waitlists, escort guests to seats, and help create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our passion for live entertainment.

Responsibilities include guiding guests, communicating wait times, assisting with events details, and delivering a high level of service during peak times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in restaurant operations preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks with efficiency and composure.
• Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly with a smile and sincere welcome.
• Assist with venue directions as needed and manage reservations/waitlists.
• Escort guests to seats and present menus when needed.
• Provide confident and friendly guidance about events and dining options.
• Maintain waitlists and communicate wait times to management.
• Walk guests to tables and ensure guests settle before leaving the table.
• Support front-of-house needs including delivering food/beverages as needed.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service per local regulations.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and perform opening/closing duties.
• Adhere to safety, health, and company policies and report issues.
