Job summary

Grand Ole Opry in Nashville seeks an Ambassador to create memorable guest experiences. You’ll welcome groups, conduct tours, and lead shifts as a tour guide, staying energetic and friendly throughout. You’ll represent the venue with passion for our music legacy.

You’ll engage guests at arrival, during intermission, and departure, answer questions, distribute materials, promote events, and ensure safety and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and listening communication skills required.
• Excellent public speaking skill required.
• Ability to learn and retain tour information upon hire.
• 1+ years customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Create engagement opportunities with guests during arrival, seating, intermission, tours and departure phases of the visit.
• Present high-energy, entertaining, scripted tour while escorting groups through the facility and lead the shift.
• Respond to questions about the venue; distribute brochures, coupons, and general information; share information about upcoming events.
• Promote Opry Entertainment products and direct guests to events and attractions.
• Ensure tour guests are presented with a photo opportunity; collect and scan tickets and provide directions.
• Maintain tour equipment; report issues to management; follow safety procedures and company policies.
