Job summary

The Westin DFW Airport in Irving, TX is seeking a Host to warmly greet guests, escort them to dining tables, and present menus in line with service and sustainability standards at our Irving restaurant.

You will maintain dining room setup, support service as needed, manage reservations and function bookings, document daily shifts in the log book, and uphold EarthView and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer seating choices, escort to dining tables and present menu.
• Read, maintain and make daily log book entries to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
• Maintain proper set-up of the dining room.
• Assist as needed or requested with service.
• Receive reservations and arrange for special functions in the restaurant.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to EarthView program and safety procedures.
