Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in New York City is seeking a part-time host to guide guests to tables, answer inquiries, and support front desk operations in a dynamic venue.

Qualified candidates have hospitality experience, prior host/hostess work, and familiarity with high-volume restaurant/nightclub environments. Training will be provided in-venue. A strong, professional demeanor and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience required.
• Experience as a host/hostess preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume venue (restaurant/nightclub/lounge).

Responsibilities

• Anticipates and accommodates the needs of the guest.
• Maintains the entrance area cleanliness and orderliness.
• Follows health and sanitation standards.
• Processes reservations for guests.
• Assists with incoming calls and guest questions.
• Checks coats and belongings where applicable.
• Performs opening/closing duties and pre-service tasks.
• Participates in training and team meetings.
• Maintains a professional, hospitable attitude.
• Learns Tao Group Hospitality and partner hotel environments.
• Works as part of a team and supports colleagues.
