Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality is seeking a part-time host to greet and seat guests at TAO or affiliated venues in New York City. You will assist guests, coordinate with the maître d’, and ensure a hospitable environment consistent with Tao Group Hospitality standards.

Must have previous hospitality and host experience in high-volume settings; ability to work evenings and weekends; the role requires professional appearance and teamwork to deliver memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience.
• Previous host person experience.
• Experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge.

Responsibilities

• Guides guests to appropriate tables as directed by the maître d’.
• Interacts with guests, fellow team members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner.
• Assists with reservations, inquiries, and questions from guests.
• Maintains entrance area cleanliness and orderliness.
• Completes opening/closing duties and side-work as directed by management.
