Soho House Chicago is hiring a Host at Berenjak, where first impressions matter. You will greet guests, answer calls, and create reservations using OpenTable and MICROS, ensuring a smooth welcome from arrival to seating.

As a founding team member, you’ll support guest service with a warm, professional demeanor, work evenings/weekends, and help maintain a hospitable atmosphere. This full-time role offers benefits and opportunities to grow with Soho House in Chicago.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must have OpenTable and MICROS experience.
• Must have experience answering high-volume phone lines and inquiries professionally, timely and to the best of your abilities.
• Problem solving skills and conflict resolution abilities.
• Detail oriented, articulate and able to multi-task in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and answer high-volume phone lines.
• Create reservations for club/restaurants using OpenTable and MICROS.
• Provide friendly, accurate information on menus, hours, amenities and pricing.
• Maintain professional demeanor and assist guests and members throughout service.
• Collaborate with reception team to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Communicate feedback to management as needed.
• Support training of fellow reception staff on standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
