Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring immediately for full-time or part-time Host or Hostesses in Lexington, VA.

The Host ensures an excellent hospitality experience by managing guest flow and providing a warm first and last impression. When wait times occur, guests are given accurate estimates and questions are answered promptly. Responsibilities include greeting Guests, seating, answering phones, taking reservations, and upholding safety and sanitation standards at the front of house.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment.
• Previous experience is not required – we will train you!

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist Guests; answer phones, seat Guests, and take reservations.
• Maintain safety and sanitation at front door, host desk, lobby, and crowd control.
• Learn seating layout and how tables are divided into server areas.
• Set and clear tables neatly according to standards.
• Learn curbside and takeout expectations.
• Perform side-work as needed.
