Parry’s is seeking a friendly Host to manage the door, waitlist, and first impressions, while supporting smooth dining room flow and table turns. You’ll apply CHEERS throughout shifts, greeting guests warmly and engaging them in conversation to anticipate needs.

Responsibilities include communicating with servers and managers, explaining the menu, and encouraging loyalty program sign-ups. The role emphasizes guest-focused service and maintaining a clean entryway.

Qualifications

• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills
• Comfortable engaging guests in conversation and asking open-ended questions
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs. as needed
• Professional, energetic, and guest-focused demeanor
• Adheres to Parry’s uniform and appearance standards at all times
• Willingness to learn the Parry’s story, menu, and service expectations

Responsibilities

• Apply CHEERS consistently throughout the shift: Cheerful Prompt Greet, Hospitality First, Engage Guests, Ease Their Needs, Ready for ’Em, Swipe That Card – Say Goodbye
• Identify first-time guests and regulars through conversation, not just seating
• Share relevant guest information with servers to support personalized service
• Communicate clearly with Service Managers regarding wait times, table readiness, and dining room flow
• Explain the menu layout and highlight signature dishes, drinks, and specials in a natural, conversational way
• Introduce and support sign-ups for the Parry’s loyalty program when appropriate
• Answer phones, take to-go orders, and assist during peak periods
• Maintain entryway and dining room cleanliness and organization
