Job summary

Parry’s Pizzeria & Taphouse is seeking a friendly Host to manage the door, waitlist, and first impressions, supporting smooth table turns and dining room flow. You will engage guests with hospitality that reflects CHEERS principles and help guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive.

You’ll identify first-time guests, share relevant guest information with servers, and assist during peak periods while explaining the menu and sign-ups for Parry’s loyalty program to enhance the guest

Qualifications

• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Comfortable engaging guests in conversation and asking open-ended questions.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Professional, energetic, and guest-focused demeanor.
• Adheres to Parry’s uniform and appearance standards.
• Willingness to learn the Parry’s story, menu, and service expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage door, waitlist, and first impressions.
• Support dining room flow and table turns.
• Identify first-time guests and regulars through conversation.
• Share guest information with servers to personalize service.
• Explain menu layout and highlight signatures.
• Sign up guests for Parry’s loyalty program when appropriate.
• Answer phones, take to-go orders, and assist during peak periods.
• Maintain entryway and dining room cleanliness and organization.
