Job summary

Buckner's Family Restaurant | Jackson is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to be the face of the dining room, greet guests warmly, and manage courteous seating in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate with servers and managers on table availability, welcome guests with a smile, and resolve issues with a servant-minded attitude to ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

This role emphasizes great communication, attentiveness to guests' needs, and a collaborative spirit that supports the team

Qualifications

• Understand our Servant-minded culture and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience.
• Welcome guests warmly by speaking, smiling, making eye contact, and maybe even opening the door as they enter the restaurant.
• Seat guests at their own pace, and be aware of any difficulties or handicaps.
• Communicate with them as you seat them.
• Communicate with servers and managers regarding availability of tables, seating of large parties, or special requests so that guests receive seamless service.
• Handle guests’ complaints by listening to their concerns, always informing a manager, and resolving issues PLUS ONE to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
