Job summary

Bob Evans Restaurants is hiring for a Host Cashier to warmly greet guests, seat parties, and manage tables efficiently. The role requires money handling, POS use, and excellent guest service in a fast-paced environment.

You will support marketing efforts, maintain clean dining areas, and assist with promotions while delivering a positive guest experience. Earn up to $15.00 per hour depending on concept experience, with great benefits including 401(k) with employer match and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills and experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills.
• Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge.
• Computer skills (POS system).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables.
• Monitors guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seats guests accordingly.
• Delivers menus and kid packs when seating guests.
• Performs restroom checks, answers phone, keeps lobby, bakery and retail areas clean.
• Practices safe food and beverage handling.
• Handles cash and credit transactions; accurately accounts for receivables.
• Assist in marketing, promotional services and situational selling.
• Clears, sanitizes, and sets tables as needed.
