Job summary

Bob Evans Restaurants is seeking a friendly Host Cashier to welcome guests, seat them, and ensure a smooth dining experience. You will handle money, manage orders, and maintain a clean lobby and dining area.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in a restaurant setting, strong guest service skills, and basic POS and menu knowledge. Competitive pay up to $15/hour with benefits, flexible scheduling, and growth opportunities.

• 0-2 years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables.
• Monitors guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seats guests accordingly.
• Delivers the appropriate number of menus and kid packs when seating guests.
• Performs restroom checks, answers phone, keeps lobby, bakery and retail areas clean and stocked.
• Practices safe food and beverage handling.
• Communicates with guests and manages crowds while they wait for table or carryout.
• Handles cash and credit transactions; accounts for all receivables.
