Job summary

Bob Evans Restaurants is seeking a Host Cashier to warmly greet guests, escort them to tables, and manage seating flow. You will handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy, answer phones, and maintain a clean lobby, bakery, and retail areas.

This role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and a positive dining experience. We offer competitive compensation up to $15.00 per hour based on concept experience, with great benefits including a 401(k) match, flexible scheduling, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills and experience.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise.
• Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills.
• Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge.
• Computer skills (POS system).

Responsibilities

• Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner and escort guests to tables.
• Monitors guests’ needs and the flow of the restaurant and seats guests accordingly.
• Delivers menus and kid packs when seating guests.
• Performs restroom checks, answers phone, keeps lobby, bakery and retail areas clean.
• Practices safe food and beverage handling.
• Communicates with guests, handles crowds, and puts guests at ease while they wait or order.
• Handles cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Assist in marketing, promotional services and situational selling.
• Clears, sanitizes, and sets tables as needed.
• Demonstrates dependability and exceptional teamwork.
