Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. in Virginia Beach is hiring a Host/Hostess to welcome guests, manage seating, and maintain a smooth flow in the dining room.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. This position offers a pay range of $15.00–$18.00 per hour and opportunities for growth within our restaurant network.

You will greet guests, answer phones, take reservations, and ensure sanitation and safety standards across the front of house.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Able to communicate effectively with co-workers and guests.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders).
• Uphold safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area and crowd control.
• Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food.
• Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications.
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations.
• Conducts side-work as required for each shift.
