Dave & Buster’s in Texas seeks a front desk host to ensure Guests have a positive first impression and a welcoming experience. You will guide guests through dining, game rentals, and merchandise, while maintaining a clean and stocked front desk area.

The role emphasizes friendly service, clear communication in English, and the ability to handle transactions. Flex schedules are available and prior restaurant or retail experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly and able to smile frequently.
• Must demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and guide them through the dining, game rental, and merchandise experiences.
• Coordinate game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones.
• Drive table turnover by scouting open tables, bussing and cleaning as necessary.
• Maintain front desk and host area cleanliness and organization, stock menus and supplies.
• Handle transactions and make timely, accurate bill calculations.
• Communicate wait times and seating information to Guests and Team Members.
• Notify Manager of unhappy Guests and escalate issues as needed.
• Foster a cooperative working climate with other Team Members.
