Job summary

Jack & Harry's in Dallas is seeking a Host who will shape the guest experience from arrival to departure. You greet guests, manage reservations, walk-ins, and seating with warmth, professionalism, and flawless hospitality, setting the tone for our refined yet welcoming dining experience.

Ideal candidates bring polish, strong communication, familiarity with RESY or similar platforms, and a genuine eagerness to build relationships.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience in a client-facing role with hospitality focus.
• Polished written and verbal communication.
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal presence.
• Familiarity with RESY or similar reservations systems is a plus, but trainable.
• Desire to learn and grow in a hospitality-driven environment.
• Food handling certification as required by state/local agencies.

Responsibilities

• Own the first and last impression of every guest’s experience.
• Greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
• Build guest relationships by learning names and preferences.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, walk-ins, and dining room flow.
• Review guest profiles prior to service to support a highly personalized hospitality experience.
• Answer phones with professionalism, warmth, and polished communication.
• Coordinate with managers, servers, and support staff throughout service.
• Support opening, closing, and side-work to maintain an organized host stand.
