The Oyster Loft at Custom House Restaurant Group in Pismo Beach is seeking dependable, adaptable Host/Hostess team members to warmly greet guests, provide accurate wait times, and coordinate seating to ensure a smooth dining experience from arrival to departure.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer-service and communication skills, a neat appearance, and the ability to manage reservations. Weekend/holiday availability and a CA food handlers certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess preferred but not required.
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Ability to manage reservations.
• Demonstrable customer-service skills.
• Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid CA food handlers certification.

Responsibilities
