The Oyster Loft in Pismo Beach is seeking dependable, adaptable hosts/hostesses to join our team. Qualifications

• Previous work as Host/Hostess preferred but not required.
• Understanding of restaurant etiquette.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a CA food handler certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Manage reservations
• Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
• Provide menus and introduce server
• Greet guests upon their departure
• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Cater to guests who require extra attention
• Answer incoming calls and address guest queries
• Assist wait staff as needed
