Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking an upbeat Restaurant Host for Elevage Soho Kitchen and Bar in Tampa. You are the first point of contact for guests, greeting them, managing reservations, and coordinating seating to create a seamless dining experience.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host or customer-facing role within hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully and professionally.
• Friendly, outgoing, and able to make guests feel welcome and valued.
• Familiarity with reservation management systems and basic computer skills.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival to set a positive first impression.
• Handle reservations by phone, online, and in person; maintain organized system.
• Coordinate seating to balance flow and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with servers and managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns; escalate issues when needed.
• Uphold Elevage Soho Kitchen and Bar standards and welcoming atmosphere.
