Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in North Las Vegas is seeking a friendly server to greet guests, escort them to tables, present menus and describe specials, and ensure smooth dining room operations throughout shifts.

You will coordinate service staff, monitor cleanliness and safety, handle guest concerns, and help maintain accurate records of guests served and equipment issues, contributing to a premier guest experience at our casino restaurant.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during shift.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and escort them to their tables according to party size and station assignments.
• Provide menus to guests and inform them of specials.
• Circulate through restaurant and coordinate activities of service personnel to provide fast and courteous service to customers.
• Assign bus person and food server breaks.
• Inspect and monitor cleanliness of room and compliance with safety and health code regulations.
• Resolve customer complaints; refer complaint to management as appropriate.
• Maintain records of number of guests served during shift, employee absences, or problems with equipment or food service.
