Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a friendly Restaurant Server to greet guests, present menus, and coordinate service in a fast-paced dining room in Las Vegas. You will work with bussers and food servers to ensure quick, courteous service and a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, monitoring safety standards, resolving guest concerns, and keeping accurate records of guests served and shift issues.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during shift.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/orcertifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort guests to their table according to number in party andstation assignments.
• Provide menus to guests and inform them of specials.
• Circulate through restaurant and coordinate activities of service personnelto provide fast and courteous service to customers.
• Assign bus person and food server breaks.
• Inspect and monitor cleanliness of room and compliance with safety andhealth code regulations.
• Resolve customer complaints; refer complaint to management asappropriate.
• Maintain records of number of guests served during shift, employeeabsences, or problems with equipment orfood service.
