Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a friendly Host to be the guests' first face and set the tone for their dining experience. You will welcome guests, guide them to tables, and coordinate with the service team to deliver fast, friendly service.

Responsibilities include handing menus, promoting specials, coordinating breaks for staff, ensuring the dining room remains clean and safe, resolving guest concerns with management as needed, and tracking guest counts and service issues to help us improve.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and guide them to their table based on party size.
• Hand off menus and highlight specials to excite guests.
• Coordinate service to ensure fast, friendly dining.
• Schedule breaks for bussing and serving staff.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and health standards.
• Address guest concerns or escalate to management as needed.
• Record guest counts and note issues for improvements.
