Job summary

Spanish Peaks Mountain Club seeks an enthusiastic Host for the Clubhouse Signature Restaurant in Big Sky, MT. You will greet guests warmly, manage seating flow, and assist with reservations and event setup.

You’ll work closely with management, chefs, and service staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. The role includes supporting private and club events, resetting spaces after events, and maintaining a proactive approach to guest needs with a sense of urgency.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a host in a hotel, private club, or similar restaurant preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task required.
• Always being positive, enthusiastic, humble, thankful, and respectful to all team members.
• Ability to follow directions, make quick decisions, and stay organized under pressure.
• Must be able to read and write in English proficiently and use a calculator.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, manage the flow of guests in the restaurant, bar and lounge.
• Coordinate with the events team to set up private and club events.
• Assist with reservations, pre-assign seating, and communicate guest needs to management.
• Support event execution with setup, replenishment, and breakdown as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and reset of event spaces after events.
• Stock snack stations and assist with general club operations.
